After earning
her BFA in Photography, Meg worked as a Staff Photographer
for the American Museum of Natural History. There
she was exposed to the amazing beauty of nature,
people and cultures.
She was introduced
to Yoga, and became a dedicated practioner, in 1999
after a serious accident. Helping her rebuild strength
both physically and emotionally, Yoga completely
transformed her body and mind.
She went
on to pursue her dream of teaching and received
her certification in Vinyasa Style from New
York Yoga. Her classes focus on alignment, and
self examination while keeping a light heart and
open mind. She believes that regardless of injury,
age or body type anyone can practice and benefit
from this powerful art.
Meg
Carlough lives in New York City and works as a Professional
Freelance Photograher and Yoga Teacher. She
is incredibly grateful to those who have taught
and supported her, and for the opportunity to share
the inspiring beauty of Yoga with others.
